Can you hear the water running through the pipes to heat our house? I can't either. But I can see the water that is all over the floor in the laundry room and the family room.
Guess what the Glad Family is getting for Christmas? -- if you guessed a pretty new gas boiler you win the prize!!
In the meantime, we are using up a lot of firewood.
So while Quintin, the kids and Talmage hung out and tried to stay warm, Kate, Sharon and I spent 12 hours at Menlo Park Mall with all the other "Black Friday" shoppers. We even got our picture taken with Santa and gave him our wish lists. Then Grace and I went for another sleepover at Kate's house so we would have a warm bed to sleep in.

Yikes!!!
We just checked all of our water heaters since they are in attic. They are known for sneaking up on you and blowing apart! So happy you survived the water!
